Founded in 1983, Children's Miracle Network (www.cmn.org) is an alliance of premier hospitals for children, an international non profit organization dedicated to helping sick and injured children by raising funds for 172 hospitals across North America. Each year these not-for-profit hospitals treat more than 17 million children. Thousands of special event and grassroots fundraisers are conducted year-round through a coalition of premier children's hospitals, media partners and corporate volunteers working together to ensure healthy kids in their communities. This is just a few of the programs generating millions of dollars each year to provide the life-saving care and crucial services kids need. These two hospitals treat children with all types of afflictions such as cancer, heart and muscular diseases, birth defects, AIDS and accident victims. Children's Medical Center Dallas For almost 90 years, Children's Medical Center Dallas has created an environment just for kids. An environment supported by highly trained medical and clinical staffs using advanced technology. Children's is a private, not-for-profit institution. It is the only Dallas healthcare facility that deals exclusively with a variety of diseases and disorders among children from birth to age 18.
